Sustainability
Our commitment
The environment is important to us. That’s why our hotel participates in Stay for the Planet, a program based on a Standard recognized by GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council), the organization that sets and guides standards for sustainable development in travel and tourism globally.
The program is based on a sustainability rating developed by LifeGate’s scientific committee, which, through the assignment of a score from 1 to 5 expressed in leaves, reflects hotels’ environmental and social performance in the following impact areas: Energy, Water, Waste, Purchasing, Behavior and People.
Through constant monitoring of consumption, we aim to preserve resources; we rigorously carry out separate waste collection to which we ask you to contribute through the special bins placed in common areas; we raise our guests’ awareness of food waste; and we offer several vegetarian and vegan alternatives.
A certified commitment
We are proud to announce that our hotel, having embarked on an ambitious sustainability journey, has been awarded the GSTC certification. The certification is issued by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, the organization that guides and sets standards for sustainable development in the tourism industry globally.
This recognition attests to our constant commitment to sustainable business management, with a focus on the environment, society and heritage conservation, with a view to continuous improvement.
By pursuing this path, together with our staff and the involvement of our guests, we wish to make a relevant contribution towards a more responsible and sustainable future for all.
